Sara Boucher

Sara Boucher is a geeky ninth year teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada. She has always incorporated technology into all of her classes from kindergarten up to eighth grade. Currently she is cultivating the next crop of super-geeks in her STEM Class at William Snyder Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Her value as a nerd extends well beyond the classroom. She organized the very first Edcamp Vegas and also performs professional development trainings throughout the country. Sara has her certification for Blended and Online Learning through CCSD. She graduated from UNLV with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2011 followed by a master's degree in Educational Technology in 2014 from Touro University and is pursuing her master's in Curriculum and Instruction. Sara also earned the School District Employee Making a Difference Award from the CCSD School Board in 2014.

Through and through Sara is a born and bred digital native. Her heart is full of love for her students and anything tech.
